All VETUS power hydraulic systems
use a variable and adjustable piston pump, which operates according
to the constant pressure principle. This type of pump continuously
varies its output to provide the ideal balance between the required
flow rate and the maximum operating pressure (load sensing). If no
hydraulic flow is required, the pump will simply freewheel, in
which case the power drain and wear and tear will be
negligible.
